Terms of Use

Personal website and private tools

chan.dev is Michael Chan's personal website. Its account and integration tools, including those at auth.chan.dev, social.chan.dev, and devices.chan.dev, are for the owner's use and explicitly authorized testing. They are not offered as a public service. Visiting this website does not grant permission to access those tools or another person's accounts.

Permitted use

Use only accounts, content, credentials, and devices you are authorized to use. Do not interfere with the website, bypass access controls, or violate another person's rights. Third-party services retain their own terms, permissions, and limits. You retain ownership of your content; connecting an account does not transfer it to us.

Published writing and code may be reused under the license stated with that material. These terms do not replace those licenses or grant rights in third-party material.

No service guarantees

The website and tools are provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, no warranties are made about accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Features may change or stop at any time. No ongoing support, storage, or uptime is promised; keep your own copies of important files.

Nothing here excludes liability or rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

Privacy and contact

See the Privacy Policy for information about data handling. Questions about the website or private tools can be sent to hi@chan.dev.
