if i like to code, what does code like to do? it likes to be run. it runs more when it’s correct. it also runs more when it’s more broadly useful. being more broadly useful introduces complexity. if that complexity isn’t properly managed (or maintained) it will run less correctly. and be run less.

where am i standing in the way, making it hard for the thing i want to do what it wants to do?
