Before the collapse of video rental, Hollywood video offered free birthday videos.

The consumate cheapskates we were, we drove to three different stores to pick up videos for my birthday week.

But we didn’t stop there.
Because the end of the rental window was my mom’s birthday.
So we’d run it again.
Three videos returned; three new videos.
